Steps to Increase a Speed of Data cards like Idea, Airtel, Reliance, Tata Photon, Huawei And MTS Mblaze :
Step 1 : Updating DNS Address:
Go to your Data Card connection setting and update your DSN . I suggest you to use Google DNS and change DNS and Alternate DNS as shown in the figure below (figure shows connection settings of MTS Mblaze).
Google DNS is as follows :
- Google DNS : 8.8.8.8
- Alternate Google DNS: 8.8.4.4.
Step 2 : Optimize TCP/IP Settings :
For Optimizing TCP/IP you need a TCP Optimizer which is a free Windows application that provides an visual interface for optimizing your Internet connection.

After Launching a program you will see a slider with different numbers written with it , just slide the slider to match your connection speed. As most of the data card companies promise to offer a speed of 3.1 Mbps so you can slide a slider between 2 Mbps to 3 Mbps.
After setting slider , in the bottom in “Choose settings” just choose Optimal if you are not sure about the settings and otherwise set it to Current and press “Apply Changes ” and then “Exit” for your settings to take place.
Now connect the internet with your Data Card and feel the change in speed.
