Sometimes it happens in your daily use that you use restart button or Log Off button more than the “shut down ” Button. But everytime when you have to restart or log off your computer system then you have to click an arrow next to “Shut Down ” power button and then select an appropriate option for definite task.
But here in this post we will teach you that you can customize your Windows power button according to you which means that you can place your most used button i.e. “Restart” , “Log Off”, “Hibernate” etc in place of “Shut down” as your power button.
Steps to customize Windows Power Button :
1. Firstly open start menu .
2. Then in this start menu just Right Click nearer to “Shut Down” Power Button and select “Properties”.
3. In this properties windows in “Start Menu ” tab you will see a “Power button action” as shown in figure above .
4. In this “Power button action” menu , select the appropriate button for your use and press “Ok”. Now your settings are done and your power button will show the button selected by you.
